Dr. Alexey Root

Dr. Alexey Root will be appearing April 10 and April 12 at huge gatherings. On April 10, Dr. Root is signing her books about chess in education (and libraries!) at the Texas Library Association Annual Conference. Look for Alexey Root in the exhibit hall in the ABC-CLIO/Libraries Unlimited booths, 2122 and 2123, on Thursday, April 10. A complete list of authors at the conference can be found at this link.

Thanks to ABC-CLIO and Libraries Unlimited for the invitation to present at 10 a.m. and then to sign books afterward.

On April 12, 5,000 people are expected for Arts in Bloom in McKinney. Look for Dr. Root and the Denton High School Chess Club at a chess booth featuring Dr. Root's books, a Giant Chess Game, and multiple chess games on regular boards too. Thanks to McKinney Chess and Susan Berger for inviting Dr. Root and Denton High School Chess Club to this festival.
