Dr. Alexey Root

For the last session of Greenhill School chess for 2012-2013, Chess Program Director Cathleen Garcia presented awards generated with Think Like A King software.  Dr. Alexey Root supervised students playing bughouse.

Parents bought copies of Dr. Root’s books Science, Math, Checkmate: 32 Chess Activities for Inquiry and Problem Solving; Read, Write, Checkmate: Enrich Literacy with Chess Activities; and People, Places, Checkmates: Teaching Social Studies with Chess.
